Axel Vervoodt is the one art curator that I admire the most.

His work is like a prism of inspiration, there are always new aspects to discover as well as previous reflections to be reminded of.

In a beautiful mix of arts and antiques, Axel Vervoodt captures a balance in interior settings. Aesthetically it all adds up; new and old, intriguing and calm, light and darkness, loudness and quietness, movement and stillness.

I believe that Axel Vervoodt is one of the 2010s most influential interior designers and that he is one of the main drivers of the wabi-sabi interior style being both introduced and becoming well-received in the western world.

The Axel Vervoordt Company is active in the fields of art, interior, and design. In 1999, the company moved to its current headquarters at Kanaal in Wijnegem.
