While the artwork is unsigned, it's attributed to Swedish artist Bo Sällström, who's created similar pieces. A clue to its creation date can be found in one of the newspaper strips, which reveals the year '1993'.
Sällström was trained at the School of Design and Crafts (HDK) and the Valand Academy, where he became the head in the 1980s. His work can be found in the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, and he's created numerous public pieces throughout his career.
The assemblage is presented in a new bespoke floating frame, sustainably crafted from an old mahogany beam in collaboration with our trusted and local wood workshop partner. The warm and consistent maroon-brown coloring paired with the uneven and vivid surface makes the assemblage highly decorative, adding a touch of contemporary and material boldness to any room.
The artwork is in excellent condition and ready to hang, allowing you to enjoy its beauty right away.
